Taylor Frankie Paul's ex Dakota Mortensen and 'SLOMW' star Demi Engemann join fierce competition series
'Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' stars Dakota Mortensen and Demi Engemann are set to appear on another reality show, but this time, things will be a little different. The duo will be part of Alex Cooper's "Unwell Winter Games," according to Entertainment Weekly. The four-part series is set to air on YouTube and will feature 14 other reality show alums. "The series brings together sixteen of the most polarizing figures in pop culture to compete in a series of mental and physical challenges over four days, filmed against the backdrop of a luxury chalet in Park City, Utah," the new show's logline reads. "The show promises fierce competition, unexpected alliances, and the kind of unfiltered drama that has defined Unwell across its programming slate." The series will premiere on April 6, 2026, and the remaining three episodes will be released in the following days.
Mortensen and his ex-partner, Taylor Frankie Paul, recently made headlines after domestic assault allegations surfaced online. Draper City Police Department in Utah shared in March 2026 that a domestic assault investigation is currently open, and that both partners have made allegations against each other, as per People. Mortensen has been granted a temporary restraining order against Frankie Paul and temporary custody of the duo's 2-year-old, Ever. On March 19, a video surfaced online via TMZ, showing a violent interaction between the couple that took place in 2023. In the video, Frankie Paul is seen throwing a chair at Mortensen in the presence of her daughter.
This comes after the reality star and self-proclaimed leader of 'MomTok' was earlier charged with aggravated assault, domestic violence in the presence of a child, and child abuse, as per People. In August 2023, she pleaded guilty in abeyance to aggravated assault after the incident in question took place in February 2023. The situation was previously discussed on 'Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.' Demi Engemann, on the other hand, is currently not dealing with any scandals, unlike many of her co-stars. She quit the reality TV show midway through Season 4, and while her status remains unconfirmed for Season 5, fans are eager to see her in action on the game show.
The "polarizing" cast of the show will also feature Bachelor Nation alums Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt, 'Love Island' stars Huda Mustafa, Eyal Booker, and Ekin Su Cülcüloğlu, and 'Dancing With The Stars' mainstay Gleb Savchenko. The unique show will also see Anna Delvey, Alissa Violet, Andrew Vetter, Cameron Jerrard, Dylan Kevitch, Hallie Batchelder, Hannah Stocking, Juliette Porter, Louis Russell, Niko Emanuilidis, and Saraya Bevis in action.
