SNOHOMISH, WASHINGTON: Twins Lyndsay Lamb and Leslie Davis were crowned the winners of 'Rock The Block' Season 5. Despite facing a tight budget, their astute value selections propelled them to the top. With only $5,000 remaining for their last renovation, the sister duo strategically maximized their resources to secure the winning title.

Initially given a budget of $250,000, they were tasked with renovating four waterfront homes on Treasure Island in Florida. The HGTV team had six weeks to add the most value to their beach houses. After each task, Lyndsay and Leslie were left with just $5,000 to do the final renovation of the house.

The HGTV twins built three laundry rooms with a dog-washing station. Following the renovation, judges Jonathan Scott and Ty Pennington assessed Lyndsay and Leslie's tropical retreat, praising features such as solar panels, backup batteries, climate-controlled wine storage, a bold kitchen, and a spa-like primary suite with a sauna and cold plunge pool.

However, the HGTV show judges expressed disappointment with the placement of the dog-washing station on the second floor and questioned the need for three laundry rooms. Despite the disappointment, the twins Lyndsay and Leslie won the competition and were left "in shock and speechless." The sister duo's home was appraised for just over $2.3 million.

Leslie Davis reflects on 'move' that helped her win HGTV show

'Rock The Block' Season 5 winners Lyndsay Lamb and Leslie Davis reflected on the big achievement and the pivotal move that secured the prize. The sister duo shared about what one design decision they feel put their home's final appraisal value above the other teams.

In a recent interview with HGTV, Leslie shared, "Sometimes the value is in the things you can’t see, and the solar panels were the best move we could have ever made." The HGTV star added, "An elevator or an extra bedroom, sure all of those things in our competitors’ homes added value, but Florida allows you to sell solar energy back to the state."

'Unsellable Houses' host explained. "We knew this would play big with the appraisers. Giving buyers an income source on their home was untouchable to anything anyone else put into their homes. It was our power move from the beginning."

Lyndsay Lamb and Leslie Davis announce new gig

After winning HGTV's 'Rock The Block' Season 5, Lyndsay Lamb and Leslie Davis have announced a new gig. The sister duo would soon release their new podcast, 'Twin Win Unfiltered'. Lyndsay and Leslie gave fans a sneak peek of the podcast on their social media platforms.

In the preview, Lyndsay explained that they will "be talking about all the things we wish we could share but we have too many people around us filtering us at all times," with Leslie adding, "It's called a social media director." She further noted, "This is not a podcast for those that love the wholesomeness, the family aspect, the kindness, the pure heart."

HGTV star Leslie continued, "This is the podcast for those that want to know the truth, that want to know the real dirt on what it’s like to be businesswomen, mothers, successful, beautiful women in this world. I mean, am I wrong?" Lyndsay and Leslie's podcast will feature "the reality behind the camera, laugh-out-loud moments from our off-screen adventures, running a business with your sister and even the hilarious chaos of raising teenage boys."
