A German influencer was left in a state of shock after she was asked to leave a Dubai mall because “she was too sexy”. Emmy Russ, 22, from Hamburg, Germany, reportedly took to her social media to talk about what had happened that day when she was attempting to do some shopping but security guards confronted her and said her outfit was inappropriate. Eventually, in order to save herself from any further embarrassment, she wore a t-shirt over the crop top.

The reality show star, who appeared on the German version of Celebrity Big Brother, who has more than 186,000 followers on Instagram, was reportedly wearing a cropped glitter top and a mini skirt to the massive Dubai shopping centre. Claiming it was a particularly scorching day, she had chosen to wear the outfit. However, once she entered the mall, she was approached by security employees who refused to continue her shopping spree because of her outfit.

Taking to Instagram to share her woes, Russ, who was labeled as "barely clothed" reportedly explained, "Suddenly a security employee came up completely out of breath and said I was too sexy, and I couldn't walk around like that. They threatened me with the police. I was thrown outside and I received a written warning." The written warning the influencer received was a courtesy policy black card by the Dubai Mall indicating, "Please wear respectful clothing."

While these posts are no longer available on Instagram, it has been widely reported that she said so. Other posts on her Instagram are from a week ago in which she is seen posing in luxury cars, chilling by the beach and posting pictures from her trip to Dubai.

In a desperate attempt to quell any further embarrassment, Russ brought a long T-shirt outside to put over her top. However, Russ continued to be puzzled by the comments and couldn't quite understand what exactly was wrong with her outfit to begin with. "According to my standards, I didn't think my outfit was too sexy," she said. "When I entered the country, a policeman even flirted with me at the airport."

According to German media (TAG24), this was not the first time that Russ was publicly criticized for her clothing. Back home in Germany, as it turns out, she was caught posing for a photo in a miniskirt while leaning on a police patrol vehicle. Since she reportedly caused a dent in the car bonnet, she received a criminal complaint about it. Apparently, the dent would have cost several hundred euros in damage, although the charge was later dropped.

The German media is not kind towards Russ either. In their articles, they describe her as a "trash princess" and "Remmidemmi", something that she was "christened after numerous rabble attacks on trash TV".
