Naomi Osaka dispels rumors of break-up with YBN Cordae with ADORABLE tweet
Despite all rumors about Naomi Osaka and rapper YBN Cordae’s breakup, sources close to the couple tell TMZ Sports that the couple is actually doing better than ever and they're most definitely still "happily in love." In fact, the couple has got more close and spends even more time with each other now.
Osaka and Cordae started dating three years ago, but they only made their relationship public in 2021. Apparently, a cryptic post by the Japanese tennis star a few days ago has led to a lot of gossips. “If a guy constantly has to tell you he’s a good guy, there’s about a 1000% chance he’s not,” she tweeted. This caused their fans to believe they are having relationship problems and are no longer together. The tweet has since been deleted.

A day later, Osaka again tweeted and this time it was to address all the drama her previous tweet had caused. MEAWW had previously reported how social media had begun trolling Cordae over the alleged breakup. “This was expected. She blew up more than him,” said one social media troll. Whereas, one quipped, “Good for her, she too bad to be with that conscious rapping geek. Needs to get wit me or Carti.” Some people even blamed the 24-year-old rapper for getting dumped by Osaka due to the new Wolverine beard he was sporting. However, Osaka reacted to these claims by tweeting, “People really just believe anything and run with whatever lol.”
Following up on Osaka's latest tweet, the star has finally dropped some hints about her 'relationship status' and put an end to all the rumors by tweeting a picture of the couple together, joking, "Us looking at twitter yesterday 💀😂"

The celeb couple first went public with their relationship in 2019 when Osaka revealed that she was dating Cordae by posting a photo with him where the couple was seen kissing with LA’s Hollywood sign in the background, titled, "Very grateful you’re in my life, always learning from you, always inspired by you. Also, always VERY entertained by you lol. Love ya kid," to which Cordae had replied, “Love ya more nugget head and yes, I am here for it!”. Ever since then they have been each other's biggest supporters during album releases and tennis matches. Cordae’s music video for the song 'Chronicles' has over 6.6 million views on YouTube since its release six months ago.
Cordae had a spectacular set at Lolapalooza set on July 29 and Osaka recently on August 2 made her return to the court with a match win against Zheng Qinwen at the Mubadala Silicon Valley Classic. Osaka will next play Coco Gauff in the second round of the Mubadala Silicon Valley Classic at the San Jose State University campus in California.
