Looks like all is not well in the paradise of Japanese tennis player Naomi Osaka and her rapper boyfriend, Cordae. The two have been dating for the last three years but apparently, a cryptic post by the tennis star a few days ago has raised eyebrows.
 
Rumors are rife that Naomi Osaka and Cordae, who also goes by the name of YBN Cordae, are no longer together. Social media users stormed Twitter as soon as they got to know about the rumors. Many trolled the 24-year-old rapper for getting dumped by Naomi due to the new Wolverine beard he debuted during his set at Lollapalooza. Though neither Naomi Osaka nor Cordae has confirmed the split, the former has apparently unfollowed the hip-hop artist from her Twitter and Instagram handles, thus adding more fuel to the fire.

Have Naomi Osaka and Cordae called it quits?

According to SportsKeeda, Naomi Osaka dropped a hint of her apparent split with Cordae when she posted a tweet but deleted it later. “If a guy constantly has to tell you he's a good guy, there's about a 1000% chance he's not”, tweeted the 4-time Grand Slam champion. While Naomi may have left a few breadcrumbs on social media, Cordae, on the other hand, has stayed mum on the apparent break-up. Apart from unfollowing Cordae on socials, the tennis player has also deleted a few pictures she had earlier shared with the North Carolina native.

Speaking of their relationship, Naomi in September 2019 revealed that she was dating Cordae by posting a photo with him where the couple was seen kissing with LA’s Hollywood sign in the background, titled, "Very grateful you’re in my life, always learning from you, always inspired by you. Also, always VERY entertained by you lol. Love ya kid," to which Cordae had replied, “Love ya more nugget head and yes, I am here for it!”
 
In an interview with GQ in February 2021, Naomi and Cordae opened up about their decision to keep their relationship out of the public eye. "We were dating for almost a year before people knew about us. So we kind of move very reclusively," said Cordae adding, “We don't really post intimate moments, because I feel as though they're sacred. A relationship is really a sacred thing. Once you let outside influences get into it, it becomes less sacred."

Social media users were quick to react to the rumors of Naomi Osaka and Cordae breaking up. “Naomi Osaka and Cordae breaking up proves the only thing real is that J Cole went triple platinum with NO FEATURES”, said one user as another posted, “Naomi Osaka and Cordae broke up? He gon miss out on that money smdh.” Another chimed in, “This was expected. She blew up more than him.” Whereas, one quipped, “Good for her, she too bad to be with that conscious rapping geek. Needs to get wit me or Carti.”
 
The next one tweeted, “It’s that goofy a** beard” referring to rapper’s recent appearance at Lollapalooza. Meanwhile, one shared, “That's why his beard look like that because he's hurting.”  Another joked, “He gained 40 lbs, and got this beard , of course she left” as, one mentioned,” I knew after seeing Cordae with them mudchop sideburns that Naomi left him.” And, one concluded, “Naomi dumped Cordae cuz of that Martin Van Buren a** beard huh.”
