'Extremely scary': Rachel Bilson receives 3-year-restraining order against man who says she’s ‘pregnant with his child’
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Rachel Bilson has been provided with a three-year restraining order against a man who believes she is 'pregnant with his child'. The alleged stalker has been identified as Clyde and per the court order, he cannot be around the actress until February 9, 2026. He reportedly has to keep a distance of a minimum of 100 yards from Bilson and her daughter, Briar Rose Christensen, 8, whom she had with Canadian actor Hayden Christensen.
The 40-year-old man also cannot contact her in any way, reported RadarOnline.com, which also stated that the request was initially filed by ‘The Last Kiss’ star in 2022. In her plea to the court, she reportedly alleged that the man “has shown up on multiple occasions to her home where she and her daughter reside. He has also researched and found the listed parties’ phone numbers and called multiple times attempting to reach (Bilson).”

‘I have never met him’
“There have been many incidents, messages on social media, and letters but most alarmingly, there have been multiple attempts to visit, and come into my home. He refers to me as ‘baby’ and calls me his ‘future wife’ and indicates that he believes I am pregnant with his child. I have never met him and have absolutely no intention of doing so,” Bilson mentioned in her request.
At the time, The Blast citing the actress reported that the stalker was getting dangerous as “he has made comments that she is ‘pissing him off and making him angry. He lives in Georgia and has driven across the country on multiple occasions and has shown up at Bilson’s family home where she is raising her 8-year-old daughter. He continues to show up at the home and writes delusional letters, even while on bail.”
‘This was very scary’
The petition to the court also reportedly stated an incident that happened on November 15, 2021. Bilson wrote, “He called many of my family members, left voicemails claiming to be my future husband, and introduced himself. This was very scary because he went thru the trouble to find out the names and contact information of many of my family members and actually reach out to them as well. I took this as a threat to me and to them.”
Referring to another September 2022 incident with the stalker, the ‘Jumper’ actress noted, “He drove across the country to my home, went past the gate and knocked on the door, and identified himself as ‘Clyde’. There were guests home who observed this and told him to leave. He claimed that he had driven all the way from Georgia to see me and he was extremely upset that I won’t see him. Police were called to the home, helicopters were deployed, but he was not apprehended.”
Bilson added, “When I read it [the stalker’s notes] sent chills of fear through me. This man will not go away. These messages show a level of delusion and persistence that is extremely scary to me. They keep coming in and it is clear that he will not let the delusion go. These messages leave me in a state of panic. I am aware that he has a history of violence, ignoring protective orders, and aggravated stalking.”
Though at that time, the mother-of-one was granted a temporary restraining order by a Los Angeles court judge, now the period has been extended to three years.
