Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip were 'Bigfoot believers' and met trapper who was 'abducted' by Yeti family
LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM: It's been three weeks since Queen Elizabeth II died at 96 and King Charles was named as the new monarch of the United Kingdom. Since her death, many new claims regarding the life of the longest-serving monarch of Britain have surfaced. Many people are coming out and speaking about their experiences with the Queen and several stories from her life. According to a new claim, the Queen and her late husband Prince Philip believed in certain superstitions and stories about Bigfoot and Yetis. In fact, new claims from an actor reveal that the Queen was absolutely mesmerized by the concept of Yetis, so much so that she even met a man who had an encounter to share.
Brian Blessed, an actor, presenter, writer, and mountaineer, told Daily Star that while he worked with the late monarch’s husband on his Duke Of Edinburgh Award scheme, they both realized they shared a common belief in the Sasquatch. Blessed was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire by the Queen who told him at that time that her favorite movie was the pulpy sci-fi classic 'Flash Gordon'. The 85-year-old actor explained that the late royal couple met with a trapper named Albert Ostman while they were visiting Vancouver, Canada. Ostman talked at great lengths about the time he was captured by a family of Bigfoots on a fishing trip to Venezuela with the late monarch and her husband. Blessed said, "The Queen and Prince Philip spent an afternoon with Albert and he told this story. It’s the most brilliant account of Sasquatch I’ve ever heard."

He continued, "Just outside Venezuela, he wanted to go on a holiday and go fishing. He was an experienced traveler and explorer in his tent, had a rifle. He wasn’t looking for any Bigfoots. He was fishing. He describes being kidnapped. He describes four of them, being taken away, it’s so real. Scientists examined him. They couldn’t find anything wrong with him. He didn’t like to repeat this story. But he told the Queen the whole story and she believed him implicitly."
Blessed added that the Duke, who died last year aged 99, shared his belief that Yetis live all over the world. "Oh yes, he said it’s true. It does exist. I told them that they’re everywhere," the actor said.
What is a Yeti?
Yeti is most commonly known to inhabit the Himalayan mountain range in Asia. As for Western culture, its other name is the Abominable Snowman. However, Yeti is different from Bigfoot but is said to have similar physical descriptions. The actor, who is also a hiking enthusiast, continued, "There are all these creatures alive on the Earth - Yeti, Sasquatch, Bigfoot. In Mongolia they walked thousands of miles. They were seen migrating - hairy men. I climbed several of the mountains and there they were. Seven, eight, nine of them all covered in fur. I saw them at a distance."
The existence of Yetis or Bigfoot has remained in question for decades despite many videos, images, and testimonies.
