When it comes to shows that deal with extraterrestrial life, only a handful have managed to grip the audience with precise and riveting storylines.

History channel's 'Project Blue Book' was one of those rare packages that had a lasting impact after it's pilot season last year and the much-anticipated Season 2 broke Twitter with fans sharing their thoughts on the premiere episode, 'The Roswell Incident- Part 1'.

Common opinion and overall verdict was "Great Show!" Now, this doesn't necessarily come as a surprise considering the fan base the series boasts off. And now that we have got this out of the way, here is what the Twitterati had to say.

"Another amazing Episode, even better than last season. It was well worth the wait for season 2," tweeted a fan, and what followed was a string of comments from fans about the intriguing plotline. "Thrilling. Love the idea of the mystery and shadow cast on the events of Roswell and the aftermath," wrote another. "Excellent. The cast is awesome, the story is entertaining. My favorite show on tv right now" declared a fan.

And while we're putting out some more reactions below, here's a copy of our review of Season 2's first episode.

Here's a fan who's had a bit of his own review of the episode. "I admit that was a little leery of a Roswell episode because Roswell has been done to death, but I liked the story y'all made out of it. I also liked the added dimensions to Harding. Characters are strong, which I think is the show's best strength." Well, cheerio for that.

That the series is based on real-life accounts meant fans could compare to the knowledge of what they have about what really happened. Here's one such case: "Most excellent! Look forward to next week. Project Bluebook is the best show since 'Twilight Zone' & 'The X-Files' but even more intense since I've read about most of the accounts!"

Then there are some who just can't wait for January 28. And understandably so.

"Great episode! Really left me wanting to watch more, can't wait for next weeks episode I wish that each episode was released sooner!" tweeted a fan. And here's a reaction that ended with a rating: "Outstanding !! I love this show. The groundwork has been laid for a fantastic season 2 . Bringing Mimi into the mix and the seductive Russian spy puts that perfect extra layer into an already great story. A+ tonight."
