Project Blue Book

Project Blue Book

Aliens, UFOs, a sneaky investigation, and one curious scientist's earnest attempt at digging the truth behind it all. This new presentation based on the real-life titular investigation undertaken by the US Air Force after a sudden spur in supposed extraterrestrial sightings has stuck to the facts, but with an added bonus of sprinkling nuanced fiction every now and then. Narrating the incidents of the real-life Project Blue Book and Dr. J Allen Hynek's involvement in the project to offer a scientific explanation behind these mysterious sightings, History channel's latest brainchild also focuses on angles of panic and fear from the prevailing Cold War scenario leading to a widespread doubt in the US about their Russian enemies. But worry not, this isn't your stereotypical alien thriller as there are women spies getting roped into lesbian romances and a skeptical US Air Force captain trying to offer whatever meaning he can to the inevitable chaos that unfurls.
