'Lisa Marie's signature on the document was inconsistent'
According to court documents, Priscilla's petition challenges an alleged amendment to the trust that would remove her as co-trustee and appoint Lisa Marie's daughter, Riley, and son, Benjamin, as co-trustees. However, Benjamin passed away in 2020.
Priscilla's attorney argued that the alleged amendment had a higher risk of fraud and that Lisa Marie's signature on the document was inconsistent with her usual signature. Priscilla also claimed that the original version of the amendment had not been located and was presumed to be destroyed.
The legal battle over Lisa Marie's trust has been ongoing for several months now. In January, Priscilla filed a petition in the court challenging the validity of the alleged 2016 amendment to the trust. She argued that she and Riley should both serve as co-trustees, but the amendment removed her from that position. Priscilla was named co-trustee of the trust in 2010, along with Lisa Marie's ex-business manager, Barry Siegel.
Lisa Marie's trust is said to be worth millions of dollars
Recently, Priscilla revealed that Barry intended to step down as a co-trustee which would mean that Riley would take over his spot. However, Priscilla believes that she and Riley should serve as co-trustees. The legal dispute has caused a rift in the Presley family with sources claiming that Riley is upset with Priscilla's actions and does not appreciate her grandmother's relationship with Lisa Marie's ex-husband, Michael Lockwood. Michael, the father of Lisa Marie's twins, Harper and Finley, recently petitioned to the court to appoint him as their guardian, the report mentioned.
