Princess Lilibet set to become America's 'biggest celebrity' after 'intimate' christening, says royal expert
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Princess Lilibet could very well become the most famous celebrity in America, a royal expert has said. Sandro Monetti insisted that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are building an "alternative royal family" in the US and that the newest member of the Sussex family is poised for stardom.
While the two-year-old has barely been seen in public, her profile has risen considerably since her recent secret christening at the family's Montecito home. What's more? Monetti believes her proper royal title has increased her potential for fame. Harry and Meghan believe the credentials are her birthright.

'She is going to be the biggest celebrity'
During an appearance on Hello! magazine's A Right Royal Podcast, Monetti asserted that Lilibet's fame will only grow with time. "Just imagine, a 21-year-old Lilibet, she is going to be the biggest celebrity in town," he said. Monetti also insisted that Harry and Meghan's presence in California has led to the creation of an alternative royal family, garnering significant attention from the couple's relentless activism and a slew of public appearances. "If you think there are royal obsessives in Britain, there are a whole lot more of them here in America," he noted.

Shameful that King Charles & Prince William snubbed Lilibet though invited.Petty. Was there representation from Royal Family? pic.twitter.com/85Og79pPKk
Harry and Meghan's ongoing deals with Netflix and Spotify, coupled with their attendance at awards ceremonies and global summits, have significantly contributed to the family's rising fame. Lilibet's position as a royal born in California also sets her apart from other celebrities. "She's the only Princess ever born in California," Monetti claimed, adding that she has the potential to become the most famous person in the US.
Lilibet's christening
MEAWW previously reported how Harry and Meghan extended an invitation to members of the royal family for their daughter's christening on March 3, but they failed to attend the religious ceremony. The Duke and Duchess organized the intimate gathering near their home in Montecito, California.
The former royal couple had invited Harry's immediate family, including King Charles III, Queen Camilla, Prince William, and Kate Middleton, but they did not attend the ceremony, a source told the People. They noted that the gathering was only attended by 20-30 guests, including Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, Lilibet's godfather, Tyler Perry, and an unnamed godmother. “I can confirm that Princess Lilibet Diana was christened on Friday, March 3, by the bishop in the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles, the Rev John Taylor,” a spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex said.
A bulletin published on the royal family's website outlined a busy schedule of public duties from the week of February 25 to March 3, which could refute the claim that they "snubbed" the Montecito baptism, per Daily Mail. The list showed a slew of scheduled public appearances made by royal family members, including how the Prince and Princess of Wales attended the Six Nations Rugby Match between Wales and England at the Principality Stadium, Cardiff.
That said, only time will tell if Monetti's prediction comes true, although one cannot deny that the Sussexes have captured the attention of audiences and dominated the news cycle across the Atlantic. Thus Lilibet's star as an American royal is only going to rise with time.
