Princess Charlotte turns 4, Kate and William share candid photos of princess being her adorable little self
Princess Charlotte's fourth birthday is here and photos shared by her parents - Prince William and Kate Middleton, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge - reveal how grown up she looks now!
In these never-before-seen photos posted by the royal couple on their official Instagram page, Kensington Royal, their second child can be seen living her best life, going around being her adorable and lively self. The series of snaps were reportedly taken in April by Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge herself, at their country home in Norfolk.
Most often spotted in her Sunday best at official royal events, Charlotte's playful side comes out in these series of photos, shot within the comforts of her own home, clearly. One of the photos shows the princess running in a plaid skirt, teamed with a grey sweater and a pair of stockings, along with a yellow flower in her hand.
Another one shows her straddling a fence with the most innocent look ever upon her face. The big bonus is, however, the portrait where the little princess flaunts a gorgeous blue floral dress, while she poses on the green grass. As candid as it looks, the shot is given a bit of an edge by the pair of canvas shoes the outfit is teamed with, unlike the usual flats she is known to sport most of the time.
As the princess, affectionately called Lottie by her mother, turns four May 2, there has been no update on how the royal family is planning on celebrating the grand event. This birthday comes right after the youngest member of the royal family, Prince Louis - Kate and William's third child - celebrated his first birthday in April.
Needless to say, it also called for a gorgeous photo shoot at their Norfolk home, where the prince was seen in a cute blue sweater with a dog on it in one photo and another one showed him dressed in a red sweater, sprinkled with moss from their yard.
While Louis' birthday followed his great grandmother, Queen Elizabeth's 93rd birthday on April 21, soon there will be another birth to celebrate in the royal family as Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, await the arrival of their first child.
They have been extremely tight-lipped about their pregnancy so far and aren't keen on knowing the sex of the baby either, even though fans and well-wishers strongly believe it's going to be a beautiful baby girl. Here's hoping for that set of photos soon!
