Prince Philip back behind wheels without seat belt days after crash, as unhappy victim still waits for an apology
Just days after being involved in a crash with car that had two women and a baby onboard, Prince Philip was seen driving a brand new Land Rover sans seat belt on Saturday. The 97-year-old Duke of Edinburgh was seen driving into Sandringham, days after crashing his car into a Kia, after which his Land Rover “somersaulted across the road.”
The incident, which occurred in Babingley, Norfolk had left him bloodied and shaken, along with the passengers of the Kia he crashed into.
Witnesses revealed that Prince Philip was pleading “get me out” after his Land Rover crashed on Wednesday, and a motorist who swerved around the wreckage said he was “hanging from his seat.”
Four rescuers had to free him from the upturned vehicle after he revealed that his leg was trapped. The palace officials also revealed that though he claimed to be unhurt, the Duke was taken to the hospital on the night of the crash.
