Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's engagement photo removed from Queen's Buckingham Palace sitting room
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's picture, a shot from their engagement, was reportedly removed by Queen Elizabeth II from her sitting room at Buckingham Palace.
This picture in question was reportedly spotted by Hello Magazine during a meeting in 2018 between Honorable George Brandis, the Australian High Commissioner to the UK, and the 93-year-old monarch.
The picture featured a never-before-seen snap of the 'Suits' actor and Prince Harry from their engagement shoot. This picture, according to a report in H2, was seen as support from the Queen herself for the couple.
This same picture, however, is not to be seen anymore and people took notice of this fact when a picture of the Queen with High Commissioner for Grenada, Lakisha Grant, at the sitting room was released.
This removal of the picture is being seen as an important sign as currently, the tension between brothers Prince Harry and Prince William is running high.
This tension and rift between himself and his brother William was something Harry had made a remark about in the ITV documentary titled 'Harry & Meghan: An African Journey.'
He had said, "Inevitably stuff happens. But we're brothers, we’ll always be brothers. We’re certainly on different paths at the moment. I’ll always be there for him and as I know, he'll always be there for me. We don’t see each other as much as we used to because we’re so busy, but I love him dearly."
He added, "The majority of stuff is created out of nothing. As brothers, we have good days and we have bad days."
The speculations of a feud between Harry and William began when reports surfaced of William cautioned Harry about his whirlwind romance with Markle and his decision to marry her after less than a year of dating.
According to a report in Daily Mail, British journalist Angela Levin confessed to Sky News that Markle and Prince Harry were "unhappy" and "miserable" after an emotional tour in Africa.
"It seems unfortunate now," Angela said. "He is having another wave of agony over his mother, Princess Diana. The trip was going to be very difficult as he was retracing his mother's steps."
