Prince Harry confirms rift with Prince William: 'As brothers, you have good days and you have bad days'
Rumors about Prince William and Prince Harry not getting along have been swirling in the media for quite some time and it looks like the Duke of Sussex has finally come forward and addressed them.
In a recent interview that Harry gave to ITV's Tom Bradby on his recent trip to South Africa, he commented on his relationship with his older brother Prince William.
Bradby asked Harry about his views on the news of his rift with Prince William making headlines and how much truth those stories held.
Harry seemingly hinted that things are not perfectly fine between the two but added that they are brothers and would always look out for each other.
"Part of this role, part of this job, this family, being under the pressure which it's under, inevitably stuff happens. But we are brothers. We will always be brothers," he said, according to a report by CNN.
"We are certainly on different paths at the moment, but I will always be there for him, and as I know he will always be there for me. We don't see each other as much as we used to as we are so busy," he continued.
"But I love him dearly and you know the majority of the stuff is probably — well, the majority of the stuff is created out of nothing. But as brothers, you have good days and you have bad days," Harry added.
In the interview, Harry also spoke about how his wife, Meghan Markle, has been treated in the media. Markle became the target of scrutiny ever since it was announced that she would be becoming a member of the royal family.
Recently, Harry revealed that he would be taking legal actions against media outlets that wrote negative articles directed towards The Duchess of Sussex.
In the same interview, Markle also opened up about the struggles of facing negative backlash after she married Prince Harry. "Any woman, especially when they're pregnant, you're really vulnerable, and so that was made really challenging," Meghan said.
"And then when you have a newborn, you know. And especially as a woman, it's a lot. So, you add this on top of just trying to be a new mom or trying to be a newlywed."
She further shared, "Thank you for asking. Not many people have asked if I'm OK, but it's a very real thing to be going through behind the scenes." When Bradby asked Markle if she thought the negative news was a struggle, the former actress replied with a "yes".
