Meghan and Harry send son Archie to special school that teaches 'emotional literacy'
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are sending their 2-year-old son Archie to a Californian nursery school that teaches 'emotional literacy', 'kindness', 'mindfulness' and how to look after the environment. The school also teaches Spanish, music, dance, theatre and coding.
The Duke, 37, and Duchess of Sussex, 40, who live in a $14 million mansion in Monetcito, California, often pick their son up from school where his classmates have no idea he's a member of the royal family.

A fellow parent told The Mirror: "Harry often drops Archie off and picks him up, and seems like a good dad. All the parents have been laidback in welcoming Harry and Meghan, without making a fuss. And to the other kids, Archie is just one of them." "They don't know Archie's parents are royalty, and probably wouldn't care. Unless Meghan was a Disney princess."
The nursery is known for its small class sizes. It has gardens with hummingbirds, fruit trees, plants, butterflies, bees and students as young as two help grow and harvest vegetables.
According to The Mirror, Harry and Meghan chose to not have Archie attend the All Saints by the Sea Episcopal School, where celebrities' kids attend. Instead, the Sussexes opted for a nursery further away but offers a special curriculum.
This comes after Archie's little sister, Lilibet Diana was seen in a photo for the first time since her birth. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex released their annual Christmas card in December which shows a casual Meghan, 40, holding Lilibet as Harry and Archie look on and smile.
Archie was born in the UK in The Portland Hospital in May 2019, just a few months before Harry and Meghan stepped down as senior royals and began their independent life in California. Lilibet was born in the US at the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital and is named after her great grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
Prince William and Kate Middleton's children are attending school as well. Prince George, oldest son and Princess Charlotte attend elementary school in London. Both of them go to Thomas's Battersea that costs $24,000 a year and boasts alumni such as Cara Delevingne and Florence Welch. The school's activities include pottery, computing, gardening, woodwork and karate.
