John Legend trolls Trump for 'Thighland' gaffe, Internet joins in with Chrissy Teigen's 'Thigh' cookbook jokes
President Donald Trump has constantly attracted scrutiny for having difficulty pronouncing certain words and there are one too many times he's poked fun at for saying basic words completely wrong. A recent example of this is when he spoke at a Whirlpool event earlier on Thursday, July 6. He enunciated Thailand as "Thighland" in his speech but corrected himself the very next second but it was already too late and he'd already set himself up for receiving a dressing down on the Internet.
And so it did and the word "Thighland" has been trending heavily on Twitter since his speech and Twitterati is going to town with jokes on the POTUS, Chrissy Teigen's husband, musician John Legend being one of them.
Teigen has always been very vocal about her hatred for Trump. The latter has butted heads with her on Twitter and every single time she has always bounced back with a savage comeback. Surprisingly, Chrissy said nothing about the POTUS' recent fault, however, she did share a screenshot of the "Thighland" trend with the caption "mama we made it."
Her mother Vilailuck "Pepper Thai" Teigen is from Thailand and Chrissy also flies out to the Southeast Asian country for vacations and to connect with her extended family. She might've not said much about it, however, her husband who once was branded "boring" by Trump decided to not let go of this opportunity. "Good thing her cookbook hasn't gone to print yet. we've found a new title," he wrote in response to Teigen's tweet and the Internet kept adding to the joke.

Another user tweeted, "Can't wait for the Spicy Thigh Chili Wings recipe."
Another tweet read, "Chrissy- what’s your favorite Thigh restaurant in LA? I’ve been craving Thigh food lately."

The Trump-Teigen hate saga dates back to the time he was elected to office. The back and forth between them on Twitter reached a point where Teigen was blocked by Trump, she reported in 2017. Last year in September, she was referred to as "boring musician" and John Legend's "filthy-mouthed wife". Teigen clapped back at him by putting the term in her Twitter bio, as a sign that she stays unbothered and unaffected by Trump's opinion of her.
