Ben Napier gets torn rotator cuff after 'overtired' working day
After the full workday, Ben uploaded a selfie with his wife on social media to give his fans updated about his health. The star was seen wearing the blue ash-colored t-shirt while Erin sat on the front seat of the car wearing a red top. Ben wrote, "Full work day, torn rotator cuff, overtired, hungry, but we still made it." It seems that both wife and husband have been working pretty hard these days to meet their clients' wants. Ben further added, "The girls are a blur in the backseat, but Mae yelled AMEN a dozen times, and Helen asked good questions. Ecclesiastes 3:20 #ashwednesday."
Will Ben Napier need surgery?
A fan shared her experience in the comment section as Ben revealed about having a torn rotator cuff. "I hate that you have a torn rotator cuff. That happened to me falling while chasing my dog. It is very painful and takes forever to heal. Please baby it. Praying for you. I just love you guys so much. Your integrity, values, joy and creativity are such an inspiration to me. Please take good care!" commented the fan. Another claimed that the injury of the rotator cuff often leads to surgery. The fan wrote, "FYI. My Dr boss fell at 80. Tore rotator cuff. He had surg within a week. Had very little prob. Surprised me! He said IF need surg do quick. Otherwise the rotator cuff “tissue” starts to retract and gets shorter. Then if do surgery, Dr has to pull to stretch it back to correct length. THAT is what causes a lot of pain and issues." Another agreed, "I’m 73, had surgery Oct. 24 and having a really tough time with getting stretch and flexibility back. Doing PT. But what you said is all true." Furthermore, a fan claimed, "I had the same issue. Took almost a year to get diagnosed then have surgery in August. Still having some issues stretching."
"Rotator cuff is no fun. Once repaired you’ve got to be super diligent about rehab. I’ve also found that exercising it, strengthening the muscles surrounding it, is a heck of a lot less painful than not doing so. Have to stay on it for the long haul," wrote a fan. Well, it seems from the experience of the fans that Ben should take his rotator cuff pretty seriously. Let us further wait for more updates to know whether Ben will be getting surgery.
