Donald Jr and Eric celebrate belated Thanksgiving at Mar-a-Lago with Trump after his Afghanistan trip, Ivanka celebrates with Jared's family instead

President Donald Trump returned home to Mar-a-Lago, Florida, on Friday night for a belated holiday dinner with First Lady Melania Trump, sons Donald Trump Jr and Eric Trump. They were accompanied by Trump Jr's girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle and Eric's wife Lara Trump.
Donald Trump Jr titled the photo as “Squad goals. Fun dinner with @realdonaldtrump and @FLOTUS last night,” which showed him cheerfully posing with his father and his girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle. The photo also portrayed the first lady, Eric and Lara Trump.
The POTUS had just returned home from Afghanistan, where he had gone for a surprise Thanksgiving trip to spend the holiday with the military troops. It was his first visit to the country in the Middle East. He served holiday meals to the troops, thanking them for their service. After his Afghanistan trip, he returned to Florida on Friday and celebrated a belated Thanksgiving with his family. However, first daughter Ivanka Trump was missing from the festive scene and she chose to spend the holiday with her husband, Jared Kushner, reported The Daily Mail.
Donald Jr also highlighted the importance of his father’s Middle East visit and added in his extended photo caption, “'It was great to see him for a belated family dinner, because while we all missed him at Thanksgiving, he was doing something more important... having dinner with our incredible troops in Afghanistan. Always thankful for family and time spent together."
Although his sister Ivanka was absent from the family photo, he made no mention of the same. Meanwhile, Ivanka shared her special holiday moments on social media. She was seen spending Thanksgiving with her three children.
President Trump also took the opportunity to share his holiday update on his social media handle. A few hours after his arrival, he tweeted, “Just returned to the United States after spending a GREAT Thanksgiving with our Courageous American Warriors in Afghanistan!” The POTUS will stay in Florida through the Thanksgiving weekend, which will be his first holiday in the Sunshine State after he moved his residence from New York to the south.
