Piers Morgan went on an explosive rant where he claimed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were "exploiting Princess Diana's death to make millions from investment banks".

The 'Good Morning Britain' host did not hold back as he hit out at the couple's latest venture where Prince Harry discussed mental health during JPMorgan Chase's Alternative Investment Summit.

During the speech, Harry had spoken about losing his mother Princess Diana at the age of 12 and also of the therapy he has undergone to cope with the trauma.

While writing for the Mail Online, Morgan slammed Harry for "constantly emoting in public speeches about his 'struggle' with his grief" and accused him of "commercially exploiting his mother's death to make vast pots of money."

He also spoke about Harry talking about mental health and said, "Indeed, Harry has talked of little else in recent years, constantly emoting in public speeches about his 'struggle' with his grief even now, 23 years later."

However, Morgan did share that he understands that Harry suffering such a devastating loss at a young age must have been very difficult though he noted that it has "happened to millions of people".

"There's a big difference between talking about it to raise public awareness of grief-related mental health issues — and doing it privately for a big fat fee to a bunch of super-rich bankers, business tycoons, politicians, and celebrities," he wrote.

"By commercially exploiting his mother's death to make vast pots of money like this, Harry is surely behaving in exactly the same way he professes to despise from the media?" Morgan added.

The reports come after Meghan and Harry decided to level up their security at their £10million Canadian mansion.

The couple is currently residing in Canada along with their baby son, Archie in a luxury pad in North Saanich, Vancouver Island. They are reportedly preparing to drop their HRH titles and quit the monarchy to enjoy a private life.
