'You guys are like twins!' Peter Doocy is a carbon copy of his dad Steve Doocy in throwback Easter photos
WASHINGTON, DC: Peter Doocy is like his father Steve in a lot of ways, even following in his footsteps to forge a successful career in journalism. However, fans realized just how closely they resembled each other in a family post celebrating Easter.
Taking to Instagram, the 'Fox & Friends' anchor Steve shared a sweet picture with his son to mark Easter. The proud father shared side-by-side pictures taken years apart with his son in front of the White House. The first image showed Doocy as a baby in his father's arms biting on his press pass while in the latter, he rocked a pair of dark shades. The duo recreated the photo in the second image, with Peter once again biting his father's press pass but this time wearing the dark-tinted shades himself.

'Peter, are those my sunglasses?'
Steve noted in the lengthy post how former President Ronald Reagan was still in the White House when the first snap of him and Doocy, who was nine months at the time, was taken. "This Easter weekend I was back—and Peter's all grown up with his own press pass…but mine still tastes better. Peter, are those my sunglasses? Happy Easter everybody!" the father humorously added.
'You guys are like twins!'
The Fox News veteran received a warm response from his followers, many of whom noticed their resemblance. "You guys are like twins!! Happy Easter," one wrote. "ll my goodness, you 2 are twins. Unbelievable how so alike. Love you both and all your reporting. Keep it going Peter and keep asking those hard questions. We need to save our country. Happy Easter," another added.

Respective backgrounds
Steve has been with the Fox network for over two decades. He initially started his journalism career as a reporter for WRC-TV (NBC) in Washington and worked on several programs at the network before landing a job at Fox, and thereafter the hit show, 'Fox News & Friends'. The veteran anchor now co-hosts the show with Brian Kilmeade and Sean Hannity's rumored girlfriend Ainsley Earhardt, who joined the cast in 2016.
Doocy carried the baton from his father and established himself as a journalist. He currently works as a White House correspondent for Fox News after joining the network in 2009 as a general assignment reporter. He notably covered President Joe Biden's campaign during the 2019 elections and has interviewed powerful figures such as former President Donald Trump, then-Senator Kamala Harris and Senator Amy Klobuchar among many others. The rising star and his wife and Fox colleague, Hillary Vaughn, welcomed their daughter Bridget Blake Doocy on February 1.
Bridget, who made Steve and his wife, Kathy Gerrity, grandparents for the first time, reportedly weighed a healthy eight pounds and an ounce at birth, according to AmoMama.
