Looking at Davidson's notes, people shared their views. One said, "Thank you for sharing. Pete is one of my current favorite people and comedians so it's reassuring hearing his love and respect for Bob. It's definitely saddening but I love knowing that the lot of comedians have respect for one another."

Another user said, "Yes. People find out that those other humans who actually do things and connect and are caring…those are the important people. I’m super glad Pete got to have a relationship like that with Mr. Saget. From the outside Bob seemed like the best most caring person."

Another follower tweeted, "I happened to see this while talking to my mom (who I’ve asked to take extra good care of herself from now on), and we both said this seems like evidence that Pete is a good guy. Condolences to everyone who loved Bob."

Remembering the legend he was, another user wrote, "He really did help raise all of us in special ways didn't he. My heart goes out to everyone that knew him personally and to everyone who loved him. I'm so glad that he was such a positive light in your life Pete. We love you. We love you Mr. Saget. Gone way too soon."
