Peacock 'Mrs Davis' Episode 2 Takeway: Simone and Jay's marriage is much more than 'I do'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Peacock has some great content on its platform, including ‘Poker Face’ and ‘The Resort’. The newest addition to the list is 'Mrs Davis', an action-thriller about a nun battling against AI and its effects on the world.
Simone is a nun at a convent who loves her work for God and the people at the convent, but one day an AI changes everything. ‘Mrs. Davis’ is set in an alternate version of our world in 2023, where the world is run by an AI known as Mrs Davis in the US, Mum in the UK and Madonna in Italy. Episode 2 dropped some major hints about Jay and his connection to Simone.

Jay and Simone are married?
'Mrs Davis' Episode 2, directed by Owen Harris, is yet another wild ride. The mind games the characters play seem like a precursor to what is to come in the upcoming episodes. The episode reveals a cat and mouse game. In this episode, we find out that Jay (Andy McQueen) and Simone are actually married. How could that be as Simone is a nun? It is implied that Jay, who is Simone’s husband, is Jesus. Their relationship is very complicated and only the upcoming episodes will reveal more about them.
Is Jay Jesus?
Simone and Jay seem to be in love, and it was revealed in Episode 2 that they are married. Jay makes falafel for her with pineapples in it and tells her to do some tasks, which involves people's names on a paper. In Episode 1, we see that both of them are close and there is some chemistry. There is a twist, however, when we realize that Jay has a bigger boss who sits behind a door where only he is allowed to go. While Simone has been given a task to end Mrs Davis, it seems as though Jay is in fact the messenger of God who wants people to have more faith in religion than a machine.
'Mrs Davis' is available to stream exclusively on Peacock.
