ABU DHABI, UAE: Ayesha Curry turned many heads after she flaunted her slim figure at the Forbes 30/50 Summit recently. While the Food Network star, 33, has previously talked about losing 35lbs, it appears her astonishingly trimmed-down figure has caused fans to speculate that she might be on a weight loss drug. Curry was seen looking slimmer than ever in an elegant floor-length plunging black gown at the event.

The wife of NBA star Stephen Curry took to Instagram to share a couple of images from the event. "Last week in Abu Dhabi with @forbes for the most amazing #forbes3050 International Women’s Day summit. Such an incredible event!" she captioned the photos shared on Friday, March 17, 2023. Curry’s 7.9M followers on Instagram immediately flooded the post with comments, speculating whether she might have used Hollywood's favorite new weight loss drug Ozempic to achieve the transformation.

'Ozempic queen'

"Beautiful as always but looking too thin," a follower commented, while another one simply wrote, "Ozempic queen." Another user joked, "Okay who started this? The Kardashians has the secret and we need that!" A fourth comment read, "When she get that skinny."

While the comments section was filled with mentions of her evident weight loss, 'Mean Girls' star Lindsay Lohan showed her stamp of approval by simply commenting, "Beautiful" with a red heart emoji. For the event in Abu Dhabi, Curry tied her hair braided in an updo. She was seen posing from the side with a hand on her hip in one shot which showed off several silver bangles that she wore on her wrists. In another photo, she was snapped flaunting her plunging dress and her svelte frame from the front.

Curry lost 35 lbs

This comes after the star opened up about being on a health journey for three years. She attributed it to cleaning up her eating habits and moving forward with her well-being as a priority. "I've kind of been going through a health journey for the past three years now," she told People. "I've lost 35 lbs. over the past year, which I'm really excited about, but now I want that definition and I want to feel strong in my skin," she added.

Ozempic and Wegovy recently rose in popularity after becoming the first drugs proven to aid weight loss. According to the DailyMail, these weight loss drugs work by imitating a hunger hormone in the body to trick people into thinking they are not starving. They are given as weekly injections for $1,000 a month.
