All 14 episodes were dropped together on the OTT giant on Thursday, February 8, letting viewers binge-watch the endearing friendship of Emma Morley (Ambika Mod) and Dexter Mayhew (Leo Woodall).
The pilot episode introduced us to the key characters (Emma Morley and Dexter Mayhew) while giving insights into the friendly bond that they share.
Emma Morley struggles in the big city
After graduating from the University of Edinburgh, Emma moves to London to pursue a career in writing. Meanwhile, she takes up a low-paying, boring job at a shabby restaurant.
She tries to write between small breaks and travel time, but the creative drought takes over, and Emma regrets moving to the big city.
A conversation with Dexter Mayhew helps Emma Morley
Dexter shows up at the restaurant which leaves her embarrassed of her situation. Later that evening, she meets him in the park and yells at him for visiting her workplace and offering her a tip.
After a little argument, she shares her thoughts of moving back home. Dexter talks her out of the idea and motivates her to hustle until she succeeds.
The young friendship will be put to the test as they juggle through the distances, Dexter's newfound love, and the curveballs in their professional lives.
