LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Singer and actress Olivia Newton-John, who passed away on Monday, August 8, 2022, has a legacy of her own. Newton-John was one of the favorite stars of the silver screen. She started her career with a music band called 'Soul Four' and the four-time Grammy-winner became a star in the music industry. Her first single was 'Till You Say You'll Be Mine' for Decca Records in 1966.

What is Olivia Newton-John's net worth?

According to reports, the actress is estimated to have a net worth of $60 million. In 1971, Newton-John released her debut studio album 'If Not for You', which was a massive hit across countries. The title track became a huge hit not only in London but also in the US, Canada, and Australia. Her following albums generated big hits like 'I Honestly Love You', 'Have You Never Been Mellow', and 'Please Mr Please'.

In 1978, Newton-John played the female lead in the cult classic 'Grease' released in 1978. It can be understood that her success in both the film and music industries has helped her in increasing her net worth.

The 'Grease' star continued to release music, including her double platinum album 'Physical'. She also played remarkable roles in movies such as 'Xanadu', 'Two of a Kind, Bette', and 'Sordid Lives: The Series'. She has also won four Grammy Awards, 10 American Music Awards, and two Golden Globe Awards.

The four-time Grammy Award-winner had a lot of real estate properties in her name. However, while battling stage 4 of breast cancer, the actress sold many of them off to invest in her wellness center and foundation, according to the New York Post. She had properties across US and Australia. Newton-John had an estate in Santa Barbara, California, however, she transferred its full ownership to her husband John Easterling a few years ago. He re-financed the mortgage with $2.5 million left on the home. The two had initially purchased the four-bedroom, five-bathroom Santa Ynez property for $4.69 million in 2015. It was a great house situated on 12-plus acres alongside the Santa Ynez River.

Newton-John also sold off her 189-acre Australian farm in 2019. It was a French country-style property that was sold for $4.6 million. In 2005, she co-founded the award-winning Gaia Retreat & Spa. It is a health retreat resort in Byron Bay. Later on, it was sold to an investment group called Tattarang.

However, success did not favor her when she started her US-based leisurewear line called Koala Blue. The brand had more than 60 stores in Hong Kong, Canada, Japan, France, the US, and Australia and was sold off in 1992.
