'Love Island' fans slam Olivia Kaiser and Korey Gandy's win, call it 'sh***y end' to Season 3

Although America voted for Korey Gandy and Olivia Kaiser as the winners of 'Love Island' Season 3, fans are far from pleased with it. Korey and Olivia's relationship raised a lot of eyebrows as it came out of the blue. Both Olivia and Korey had one thing in common- their struggle to form a connection with their fellow islanders. While Javonny Vega was head over heels in love with Olivia, she was unfortunately not attracted to him. So right before leaving for Casa Amor she split up with him. 

On the other hand, Korey's partners kept ditching him for other men. Kyra Lizama traded him in for Will Moncada, while Florita Diaz ditched him for Jeremy Hershberg. Although Korey formed a strong connection with Isabel Johnson during Casa Amor, he shocked everybody by deciding to couple up with Leslie Golden instead. Olivia expressed her feelings to Korey and revealed that during her time away from him at Casa Amor she came to the realization that she liked him. Korey was flattered and reciprocated her feeling. With Leslie abruptly leaving the villa, Korey was free to pursue Olivia.

While Korey was convinced that Olivia was genuinely interested in him, fans however felt that she was just playing the game and using him to extend her stay on the show. When Andre Brunelli walked into the villa with his eyes on Olivia, she declared that she felt a very strong attraction for him and even told Korey that he was everything she wanted. But she also added that she still had strong feelings for Korey. During the next recoupling, Korey decided to couple up with Olivia and test the waters with her.

As Korey continued to fall for her, fans began feeling even more wary of her. So, when Korey and Olivia were announced as the winner of 'Love Island' and recipients of the $100,000 prize money, fans took to Twitter to express their dissatisfaction with the voting. A fan tweeted, "Olivia and Korey won. Welp....a shitty end to a shitty season #loveislandusa." Another fan wrote, "Well, a joke ending to a joke season...disappointing bc this season had soooo much potential and ended in the worst final 4 ever and a sucky winner bc Olivia is not a good person IMO....and she played Korey. I hope he's just playing the game too. #LoveIslandUSA." "Olivia and korey won? Huh? What a dead show #loveislandusa," echoed a fan.

Many fans also slammed Olivia for her political beliefs. A fan shared, "You mean to tell me that after EVERYTHING, THE TRUMPIE WON?! Oh Olivia was acting DOWN! #LoveIslandUSA." Another fan seconded with, "A trumpie who’s anti juneteenth just won this show… #LoveIslandUSA." "Congratulations america the trumpie won #LoveIslandUSA," added a fan.
