One of the more staggering storylines of 'Obi-Wan Kenobi' was the return of Rupert Friend's Grand Inquisitor. He was seemingly killed by Reva (Moses Ingram) earlier in the series but does make a solid comeback as Darth Vader and the third sister duel it out. After the former fatally stabs her, the Grand Inquisitor is shown to be alive and even gloats at Reva.

Quick answer as to how he survived: The Grand Inquisitor is a Pau’an, a race that has two stomachs per Star Wars trivia. As outlined by Gamerevolution, it appears that Reva may have stabbed him in one of the stomachs, meaning he could deal with one functioning part. Adding to this, Friend's own spoiler himself on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' where he replied that Reva's lightsaber went through only one of his stomachs hinting that he indeed would return. That scraps the theory of him coming in a flashback when he's actually alive and kicking.
