'Obi-Wan Kenobi' Episode 4: Will Reva be killed by Darth Vader by end of the season?

'Prove yourself, and the position of Grand Inquisitor is yours. Fail me, and you will not live to regret it'— Vader had made Reva's fate clear

Halfway into the series, 'Obi-Wan Kenobi' has already given 'Star Wars' fans a much-awaited tease of the Obi (Ewan McGregor) vs Darth Vader  (Hayden Christensen) battle. The duo squared off in Episode 3 only for Obi to take quite the beating from his former protege. But if the show were to shake up things a bit more, it might be in the form of a major character's death. In this case, Reva (Moses Ingram) might be one of the casualties in the season. She's already been tasked by Vader while also being issued a direct threat: "Prove yourself, and the position of Grand Inquisitor is yours. Fail me, and you will not live to regret it."

Safe to day, the Inquisitor has made some solid strides by being a stiff thorn to Obi and even manages to corner Princess Leia (Vivien Lyra Blair) in the previous episode. But with the story surely set to see Obi's resurgence, Reva might just suffer the same fate that was shown in the video game 'Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order'.

The game was released in 2010 and followed Jedi Padawan Cal Kestis who's been trailed and hunted by the Inquisitors. The game's timeline is set five years after 'Revenge of the Sith'. The Disney+ series is set 10 years after the final prequel. What's common is the villain, and the second sister takes the same role as Reva in the game and is killed by Vader after she fails to capture Kestis. Should this be the route the McGregor-starrer would take, then Reva would end up being one of the characters to bite the dust on a show that's reportedly gearing up for a Season 2.

The working theory is that she could join forces with Obi and Tala (Indira Varma) as well. While the how can be attributed to a change of heart (which is a common theme in Star Wars content), this could be one of the twists the show might have to offer. With three episodes left before the series ends, 'Obi-Wan Kenobi' promises some massive repercussions after pitting Obi and Vader as early as the third chapter.

What are your thoughts on Reva's fate in 'Obi-Wan Kenobi'?
