The young lady, who has been jailed for seven years, broke the Internet after a new picture of hers was shared

We all remember how Jeremy Ray Meeks, a former member of the Crips street gang, broke the Internet way back in 2014 after his mugshot went viral giving him the tag of “prison bae.” He ultimately landed in the world of fashion becoming a supermodel. And, now there is a new prison bae in town in the form of an inmate who has been identified as Nyla Murrell-French.
 
The young lady, who has been jailed for seven years for stabbing a woman in the neck during a 2018 gas station altercation, broke the Internet after a new picture of hers was shared on her Facebook and Instagram accounts respectively. The viral picture came with a caption that read, “Merry Christmas from the Pretty Gangsta #FreeMe #FreeNyla.” Social media users then drooled over her stunning facial features as they could not resist talking about her. Speaking of inmates, an Instagram model made news when she distracted a guard while her mother escaped prison using a rope ladder and bike. In another incident from prison, Arizona inmates were caught after they tried breaking out of prison. A smirking pic of inmate Kim Potter too broke the Internet whereas, a California jail made headlines after transwomen inmates allegedly had sex with female prisoners.

Who is Nyla Murrell-French?

Nyla Murrell-French is a 22-year-old inmate, who is serving her sentence at an adult detention center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She originally hails from Chicago, Illinois but lived in Minneapolis. Nyla was charged with a first-degree assault after stabbing a teenager during a fight. Speaking of her viral post, Nyla in the picture can be seen sitting cross-legged in prison-issued gray sweats while smirking for the camera.
 
On Instagram, the viral picture got close to 5K likes whereas, on Facebook, the new prison sweetheart’s picture managed to rake in 11K likes and close to 5K shares. The Facebook account of the new prison bae also comes with her other pictures that too got the attention of the Internet. After breaking the Internet, Nyla Murrell-French soon got compared to the 37-year-old Jeremy Meeks, who is now a successful supermodel.

Social media users quickly logged into Twitter to discuss Nyla Murrell-French's cute picture. “Have y’all seen the new “prison bae” she looks good”, said one user as another posted, “Prison bae is ok, she ain’t nothing to act goofy about… let me see her IG lol.” One posted, “Y’all got mfs on IG asking if that prison bae girl is me fr omfg.” The next one posted, “I thought prison bae was fine szn omg.” Whereas, one tweeted, “She’s mad pretty..gotta stop throwing away yo freedom #prisonbae” The next one added, “Dudes going crazy over Prison Bae lol”, while one user concluded, “FREE PRISON BAE lol cause wtf.”
