Norwegian Princess Märtha Louise's ex-husband Ari Behn, another Kevin Spacey accuser, commits suicide at 47
Norwegian princess Märtha Louise's former husband Ari Behn has died at the age of 47. The Royal Palace confirmed the same on December 25, and they also informed that Behn took his own life.
According to a report in Royal Central, King Harald said in a statement, "It is with great sadness that the Queen and I have received the message of Ari Behn’s passing. Ari has been an important part of our family for many years, and we carry warm, fond memories of him."
Princess Märtha was reported as saying, "We, like so many others, have grown apart. It is terrible to experience that there is no longer anything we can do. We have tried everything for a long time and we still cannot meet where we did before, which makes it impossible for us to continue," according to Express.
Behn and Princess Märtha married on May 24, 2002, at Nidaros Cathedral. The two are parents to Maud Angelica, Leah Isadora and Emma Tallulah. The couple divorced in 2016.
The report also quoted palace manager Geir Håkonsund as saying, "It is with great sadness in our hearts that we, the very closest relatives of Ari Behn, must today announce that he has taken his own life. We ask for respect for our privacy in the future."
A statement from the Crown Prince family was also released and it stated, "For us, Ari was a good friend, a dear family member and a wonderful uncle, with whom we shared many of life’s small and big moments. It is with great sadness that we have received the message of his passing away.”
Erna Solberg, Norwegia's Prime Minister also offered condolences and said, "I would like to express my deepest condolences to Ari Behn’s family, leaving behind his tragic passing away. My thoughts go to everyone who loved him.”
The Norwegian author had accused Kevin Spacey of sexual assault, back in December 2017, according to our earlier report. He's the third Spacey accuser to die under mysterious circumstances this year.
