Another Kevin Spacey accuser dies under mysterious circumstances, making it the third one this year
Another Kevin Spacey sexual assault accuser has died in apparent suicide - a day after the disgraced actor released a Christmas video no one in the world asked for and declaring that he prefers to "Kill them with Kindness". It was Norwegian author Ari Behn, the ex-husband of Princess Martha Louise who had accused Spacey of sexual assault, back in December 2017. He's the third Spacey accuser to die under mysterious circumstances this year.
Behn had said that Spacey had groped him at the afterparty for a Nobel Peace Prize concert that year as they were sitting beside each other at the table. He had said that Spacey had asked him to go outside and have a smoke and then proceeded to grab his "balls."
In May, the death of Linda Culkin was first reported. She was found dead after being struck by a car in Quincy, Massachusetts while crossing a parkway in February. Culkin was the first whistleblower to go public with allegations against the former actor. She was mowed down by a Toyota while walking on a busy intersection, the police had said at the time. No charges were filed against the driver. Culkin is said to have sent death threats to Spacey.
Then, in September, the anonymous massage therapist who had accused Spacey of sexually assaulting him during a session in October 2016 "passed away" ahead of that month's trial. No further information was disclosed about the death. Listed as only "John Doe" in the court filings, he had alleged that Spacey had groped him and tried to force him to have oral sex during a session in Malibu. He allegedly grabbed Doe's hand during the massage treatment and put it on his scrotum and penis. No other details of his death were revealed.
Before Doe's death, in July, the criminal case against Spacey was dropped, a week after a man who accused him of assault pleaded the fifth on the witness stand. This was in connection to the allegations arising from the incident at a Nantucket bar, where Spacey is said to have groped a man. A key piece of evidence in the case, the accuser's cell phone went mysteriously missing.
Spacey has been accused of sexual misconduct by over a dozen men, including actors Anthony Rapp and Harry Dreyfuss, the son of Academy Award-winning actor Richard Dreyfuss.
