LONDON, ENGLAND: A Polish woman's claims that she might be Madeleine McCann, the British girl who went missing in 2007 at the age of three, has been making headlines. In response to Julia Wandelt's claim that she is Madeleine McCann, a 'super-recognizer' weighed in and created a new drawing of what she thinks the missing British woman would look like today.

Julia Wandelt, who also goes by two other names — Julia Faustyna and Julia Wendell — made her viral claim on her Instagram account. It has generated considerable discussion about whether or not she could be right. Face "super-recognizer" Simone Malik provided a list of the distinguishing features and red flags that point to the fact that Julia Wandelt is not, in fact, Madeleine McCann.

'It could be her': Madeleine McCann family ask for DNA test after Julia Wandelt shows 'evidence' she's their daughter

'I believe that this isn't Madeleine McCann'

Simone discussed the case and said,  "I believe that this isn't Madeleine McCann – obviously DNA is the only thing that would prove it." She further added, "If she could get a DNA that would be fantastic because it would put to rest the distress she is going through." She added, "On first impressions, when I looked at Julia Wendell I didn't see any kind of family resemblance – at all," as reported by Dailystar.

Simone then listed some of the distinguishing characteristics, such as her lips, jaw, and cheek dimples, that had convinced her that this was a different person. She said, "In my earlier drawing of Madeleine McCann, I really emphasized that jawline of [hers]." She added, "Even as a youngster, when you look at her, at those pictures, I imagine [she] would grow up to have a jawline [that's] sharp and chiseled, an angular jawline very much like her mother Kate McCann." Additionally, Simone described Julia's main distinctions to other members of Madeleine's family.

She explained and said Madeleine's aunt Philomena McCann, who is Jerry McCann's sister, shares Madeleine's mouth and lip region. She further added and said, "So Madeleine I would imagine would be someone who has grown up to be a cross between her mother and slightly like Philomena – from the lip profile and the nose profile like Philomena and Kate." At last she concluded that, "I would definitely say this is not the case, this is not Madeleine McCann that we're looking at."

Where did Madeleine McCann go missing?

Despite extensive international searches, Madeleine has never been located, and her case remains one of the most well-known missing person cases in history. Since May 2007, Madeleine McCann has been deemed missing, though many police officials involved in the case believe she is already dead. While her parents, Kate and Gerry, were having dinner in a nearby restaurant during a family vacation in Portugal, she vanished. Numerous sightings have been reported in response to an international appeal for help finding Maddie, but none of them have been confirmed, as reported by Mirror.
