LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Amy Robach and TJ Holmes have reportedly been rejected by 'Dancing with the Stars' as they desperately try to land a new gig after being axed from ABC. The pair were removed from their anchor seats on 'Good Morning America' after it was found that they were romantically involved despite being married to their respective partners.

Robach and Holmes are currently in frantic search of a new television show but thus far have faced only rejections. "These two had convinced themselves they were the new Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton and job offers would come flooding in, but so far all their meetings with TV execs have resulted in a big fat nothing," an insider said about the pair’s failed pitches for new shows. The source also told Radar Online that “not even DWTS wants them in their ballroom.” However, DWTS is not the only one who rejected Robach and Holmes. CBS and CNN have also turned down their proposals.

What are Robach and Holmes’ new pitch?

Previously, it was revealed that Robach and Holmes have been pitching a brand new show highlighting their chemistry after losing their position on 'Good Morning America’. Their alleged pitch is an "up close and personal" daytime show that they believe will give tough competition to the popularity of Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos. An insider told Radar Online in February that the pair isn't done with television as they "remain confident that another network or cable channel will see the value in their undeniable chemistry."

The infamous pair attempted to pitch their 'relationship' show angle to some major networks, including CBS and CNN, but got turned down. However, the pair still has some gates open for them. There are few chances that Robach and Holmes might land at NewsNation as the network's boss, Michael Corn, seems to be welcoming them. "Amy, in particular, is very close to NewsNation president Michael Corn," a GMA insider told Radar Online, adding the network president understands Amy and TJ's predicament because of his own experiences. "Now Amy's quietly making sure they have options after GMA," spilled a source. "NewsNation seems to be their likeliest landing spot."

Why were Robach and Holmes axed from ABC?

Robach and Holmes haven’t been on the small screen since December 2022 when ABC officials took them off air after photos of them sharing intimate moments were revealed by the press. The couple apparently started hooking up in March 2022 but didn't end their marriages until later that summer. On January 27, Amy and TJ left 'GMA' following the network's internal inquiry into their covert relationship. They also received the entire amount of their contract compensation.
