'She should be canceled': Nicki Minaj TROLLED for asking Drake if he still had Covid mid-concert

Fans brutally trolled Minaj after she decided to crack a joke on stage at the OVO Fest 2022 about the Grammy-winning rapper contracting Covid

TORONTO, CANADA: Hip-hop icon Drake had postponed the much-awaited Young Money reunion that was scheduled to take place on August 1, 2022, as he was down with Covid. A few days later, the Toronto icon landed on stage with his close pals and former labelmates Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj, dubbing them one of the greatest rappers.
 
Nicki Minaj, who has collaborated with Drake frequently, decided to crack a joke on the Grammy-winning rapper contracting Covid. Social media users then trolled the Queen of rap for her little act. A few, on the other hand, also wondered if Drake really had Covid as he was quick to jump back on stage. The Young Money reunion was held as a part of Drake’s OVO Fest 2022 at Toronto’s Budweiser Stage.

‘Do you still have Covid?’

Nicki Minaj along with Drake and Lil Wayne was in the middle of a performance when she asked her rapper pal if he still had any symptoms. “Do you still have Covid?" quipped the female emcee as the two smiled at each other. Drake, while enjoying the moment, asked her, “Can I do my verse?” as he waited for his turn. The ‘God’s Plan’ hitmaker, on August 5, 2022, announced that the reunion of the trio will be taking place as he had as tested negative.
 
Drake earlier took to his Instagram with 118 million followers and shared the unfortunate news while promising that he will share the new possible date soon. He also apologized for letting his fans down concluding that he will give his fans everything on stage the moment he will test negative. “I am truly devastated to say that I tested positive for COVID and the Young Money Reunion show scheduled for tonight is being rescheduled to the soonest date possible,” said the 35-year-old rapper.

 He continued, “I will keep the city posted and share the new date whenever we have it locked. Until then, I hope everyone stays safe and healthy and I love you all I am sorry for letting you down on our weekend together and the moment I test negative I will give you everything I got on stage (except COVID)." Drake’s OVO Fest 2022 also saw Lil Wayne teasing his fans with ‘Tha Carter VI’.

Social media users were quick to react to Nicki Minaj’s joke about Drake. “I m cracking up at that video of Nicki Minaj asking drake if he still has COVID on stage.”

Another chimed in, “When @NICKIMINAJ asked Drake did he still have Covid I died love when she jokes around on stage.” One user stated, “Nicki Minaj really asked Drake if he had covid mid performance,” adding two emojis of a laughing face with tears.
 
The next one shared, “Nicki Minaj asking drake if he still got covid on stage killed me.” Whereas, another mentioned “Not Nicki Minaj calling Drake out on stage and asking if he still had Covid! Love her messy a**! One user tweeted, “#NickiMinaj asking #Drake if he still had #COVID was disrespectful and uncalled for and she should be #canceled.”
