Nick Cannon continues to mourn the death of his 5-month-old son, Zen who died of brain tumor in December last year. The 41-year-old host during a podcast session with Dr Laura Berman, which was shown on Wednesday, February 16, episode of 'The Nick Cannon Show' revealed that he wished he spent more time with Zen. Cannon welcomed his son Zen with model Alyssa Scott in June, 2021.

Cannon described the podcast appearance as a "live therapy session" sharing some key excerpts from his appearance with his audience. The video began with Cannon saying, "one thing that keeps me up at night, there's this heavy, heavy guilt with the fact that that I didn't get to spend time, like I really wanted to with Zen." He added that he has other children: Monroe and Moroccan with Mariah Carey, Golden and Powerful Queen with Brittany Bell, Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir with DJ Abby de la Rosa, that are in "similar age" and he's, "guilty that I'm not there every day."

Cannon continued, "Those children yearn for more and I can only give so much. I walk around with a backpack full of guilt, but at least I know that the harder that I work, it makes the guilt easier to deal with." When Berman asked him why working hard made the guilt easier, Cannon said he feels like he is, "providing for others" but he's the guiltiest when he's "not working and I'm spending time with a young lady. I'm like I've got a house full of kids."

When Berman asked him how many of the five women he has kids with, including model Bre Triesi, with whom he announced he's expecting a child in January, 2021, he's still romantic with?. Cannon joked, "kids are still coming." He added that his ex-wife Mariah Carey, who he was married to from 2008 to 2016, "co-parent very well" before adding they're, "really great friends and she taught me so much."

Berman said she assumed that Cannon was in a relationship with the most recent of his baby mother's and simply co-parents with the others, but Cannon hinted he's still intimate with all of them except Mariah. "I think that's what I struggle with because clearly if I can care for someone, if I have a child with someone, there has been intimacy and there probably will continue to be intimacy, because there's true authentic love there," Cannon admitted.

When Berman added that he can't resist either, Cannon responded, "Absolutely. I'm a lover. I'm a hopeless romantic." Cannon said, "You put me in the right environment with someone I have a child with, and I watch you be an amazing mother, of course I'm attracted to you." Berman said Cannon could just, "not act" on those urges if it complicates things later, Cannon added that, "life is complicated" and that some of the women he co-parents with, "deal with it better than others."
