Spoilers for Netflix's 'Beef'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Rarely a movie or a series would make the storyline so honest, grounded, realistic and most importantly entertaining. And Netflix's 'Beef' is definitely one of them. The series starts with an infamous road rage between Amy Lau (Ali Wong) and Danny Cho (Steven Yeun). This leads to lighting up beef between the two and what starts as a small prank leads up to massive destruction. Both Amy and Danny, though attaining the intended professional success, fail miserably in their personal life. And both of them process their anger by attacking each other.

The final episode of 'Beef' shows us the aftermath of the kidnapping incident. After Amy's daughter Junie/June (Remy Holt) was kidnapped unintentionally, messy chaos ensues which again resulted in Danny escaping the police and Amy chasing him in an impromptu road rage. This resulted in both crashing in the woods, leaving the mortal enemies to work together. The finale of the season digs up all the resentment and truths about each other and which leads to the main protagonists bonding. However, in a shocking twist of events, Amy's husband George (Joseph Lee) shoos Danny, while they made it to the land. This led to a few unanswered questions like 'Is Amy going to see June again?' and 'Are Amy and Danny getting back together?'

Is Amy going to see June again?

In the penultimate episode, after Amy comes clean regarding her mistakes to George, the latter gets furious and moves away with their daughter June. When Amy tried to mend the broken relationship with her family, June gets accidentally kidnapped by Danny and his group holds Amy hostage. This, however, became the final straw of George's patience and sends Amy a divorce note along with the sole custody of June. And George made it clear that they would only talk through a lawyer. But when Amy is lost in the woods, George locates her and comes running about to save her. He carries a gun with him and shoots Danny.

Though both Amy and Danny were hospitalized later, this move from George hints that things are not completely over with Amy. This leads us to believe that the couple will come to an agreement that would make both a co-parent to June. As it was stated clearly, both George and Amy love June and would do whatever is needed for her well-being.

Are Amy and Danny getting back together?

Halfway through the show, it has been revealed that Amy and Danny were ex-lovers and they cannot stand each other. This, however, changed when the couple got stuck in the woods. When the situation called for dependency, Amy and Danny come together to make out a plan to escape the place. But after eating a poisonous berry that Amy had suggested, both Amy and Danny start to hallucinate which eventually led the frenemies to open up to each other.

This unexpected honest session made each realize the life of others and understand their situation. Both finally decide to let go of the childish beef they had for each other. And finally, in the hospital, Amy realizes Danny is similar to her and watches him. And the series ends with Amy laying herself next to Danny while Danny puts his arms around her. This could potentially mean that the two broken people finally found the one to complete the other, making a strong possibility that Danny and Amy are getting back together, once and for all.
