'NCIS: Los Angeles' season 11 premiere: Hetty is back and fans want to be like her when they grow up

CBS's big 'NCIS: Los Angeles' season 11 premiere was packed with a lot of surprises and while the big 'JAG' crossover reunion of Mac and Harm stole our hearts and got us begging for a spin-off or revival focusing on their reconciliation and a possible second chance at love, there's no denying that the big Hetty comeback was equally pivotal, in that fans are thriving over how badass the powerhouse still is and can't get enough of her.

Hetty, played by Linda Hunt, had to sit out the previous season (10) owing to Hunt recovering from injuries she suffered in a car accident. This leads to a lot of worry among fans when they couldn't spot the mothership of sorts for the entire team in the procedural drama, and most of those concerns were surrounding whether she would return or not. Luckily, just like Hetty has said in the past, she just "can’t leave you kids alone for a minute” and so she is back and better than ever at pretty much working the entire unit singlehandedly.
Hetty might prove to be a hindrance in the big Mac and Harm reunion, considering she just suggested Harm put in for a leadership role at NCIS, either in San Diego or with the Contingency Response Team, but it is the fact that the lady's still got whatever it takes to orchestrate pretty much everything, having them all in the palm of her hand after all these years that's the most exciting. And of course, fans took to Twitter to express how they can't have enough of it.

User @mmlew52 gushed about how "Great to have #NCISLA back...firing on all cylinders w/lots of action," adding that "great chemistry, funny and classic moments, and Hetty orchestrating it all!" was the peak highlight of the premiere. User @Chrisuhrich2 also chimed in with similar sentiments, rejoicing the return of Hunt's remarkable work as the character, noting: "It’s so great to have hetty back on the season premiere and what a great episode!! Can’t wait for the next one!" But it is the fact that Hetty needs Callen and Sam to tay back for a 'not so official assignment' that has piqued fans' interest regarding what this mastermind could have in store for the two!
