On tonight’s 'NCIS: Los Angeles' season 11 episode, a lot more goes down than your regular drug busts. True, the entire team is called into action while they decide to enjoy some much needed time off for themselves, but then hopping on board is also a certain Roberta 'Mama' Deeks who singlehandedly was the prime element of humor this episode, and has gotten fans thanking her for imparting her sense of humor on to her son, the beloved agent Deeks.

According to the official synopsis revealed by CBS, episode 13, titled 'High Society', showed the "team connect the rise of black market opioid use to funding for terrorist activities." Dark and scary as it might sound, luckily we have a certain Mama Deeks to free us from the gloom of the mission that the team is about to embark on.

Roberta aka Deeks' mom is training for a 5K as part of her new year resolution where she vows to give up on shame and embrace the fear. Little steps in the process included putting herself more out there and speaking anything and everything that came to her mind - blurting them all out to her son. The wholesome part? Even though Deeks pretended that he did mind it a lot, he was enjoying how happy his mother was and as their free time dropped closer to negligible thanks to the drug crisis the NCIS team had to undertake, never for once did Roberta lose her charm.

From speaking with daughter-in-law Kensi after a long day of watching her and Deeks go about their mission to flinging glass plates at the door when the couple finally got home - Mama Deeks is unpredictable and got fans taking to Twitter, to ask the most important question of all: "Is #MamaDeeks drunk?" Another fan simply pointed out how "The best part (of tonight's episode) was the Mama Deeks and #Densi scene. Loved it."

Others also noted how "Every time Kensi gets to spend time with her mommy-in-law, it breathes life into the show. I am here for it. She knows her son chose right. Taste!!" And then there was that birthday call Deeks forgot to make some twenty years ago which his mom definitely remembers till now. "Mama Deeks ain’t letting that lack of a birthday call go!" noted a fan, while another complimented her character saying: "I can see where Deeks @ericcolsen gets his sense of humor."

'NCIS: Los Angeles' season 11 airs on Sundays at 9pm only on CBS.
