Yaya Mayweather 'heartbroken' after NBA YoungBoy's arrest, Internet brands her 'unhinged' for 'acting insane'

Rapper YoungBoy NBA (Never Broke Again) had a rough start to his week as he got arrested on Monday, March 22. The arrest did not come easy as the 21-year-old hip-hop artiste resisted and tried to flee from the scene which eventually led to a short pursuit, according to a report by TMZ. The cops first tried to pull-over with a vehicle but failed in the attempt as he drove away.

The Louisiana-born rapper then got out of the car and started running on foot. According to law enforcement sources, a perimeter was set up and a K-9 dog was used to locate YoungBoy. He was then taken into federal custody by the LAPD. It is reported that YoungBoy NBA, whose real name is Kentrell Gaulden, got arrested due to an outstanding federal warrant. YoungBoy’s wife Yaya Mayweather then took to her Instagram account to express how heartbroken she was.

How did Yaya Mayweather react to YoungBoy NBA’s arrest?

Yaya Mayweather, who is better known as the daughter of boxing champion Floyd Mayweather, took to her official Instagram account to express her sadness on YoungBoy’s arrest. Sharing a text on her IG stories, she posted, “My day has been completely ruined” adding an emoticon of a sad face along with a heartbreak emoji.

In the next story, she shared a pic of her rapper husband and used the hashtag “#FREEKENTRELL”. Yaya and YoungBoy welcomed their first child Kentrell Gaulden Jr earlier this year but it is the sixth kid of the ‘Valuable Pain’ hitmaker at the age of 21. In November 2020, it was reported that YoungBoy was dating another woman but looking at Yaya’s latest Instagram stories, it seems they are very much together.

Apart from Yaya Mayweather, rapper Jackboy, who apparently had a beef with YoungBoy last year, also weighed in on YoungBoy’s arrest via his official Instagram account. In his story, he posted, “Ion wish jail on nobody tell dem send me dey casy app ima buy dey whole gang a lil sandwich while bruh gone”. In another slide, he added, “Or ah hot dog out da gas station ni**as ain't tripping howeva."

‘That’s really insane how she be acting’

The news of NBA YoungBoy getting arrested spread like a wildfire and when Yaya Mayweather expressed her concern over the same, social media users did not think twice to kickstart a meme fest. Speaking on the same lines, one user shared a funny meme of a guy dancing semi-nude in front of the cops and said, “Yaya Mayweather trying to convince the cops to let NBA Youngboy out of jail.”

Another posted, “Yaya Mayweather is unhinged. that’s really insane how she be acting.” One user shared, “I don’t know why, but i find yaya Mayweather very interesting” whereas, the next one asserted, “Yaya Mayweather makes me not wanna have kids. I’d rather not take my chances.” One slammed her and concluded, “Yaya Mayweather is a f**kin clown.”
