Nate Diaz turns down PFL's lucrative offer for Jake Paul rematch: 'I’d rather fight real fighters'

Following his recent match with Jake Paul, he has become a recognized name in the boxing realm. The fight with 'The Problem Child' featured a remarkable buildup, attracting a significant audience and generating considerable excitement.

Diaz recently expressed his thoughts on X, formerly known as Twitter, regarding PFL's proposal for a rematch with Paul.

"I’m good I’d rather fight real fighters. And never back track to the minor leagues p***FL… Fight urself dips**," he wrote.

After his recent boxing match loss to Jake Paul, Diaz has a multitude of lucrative offers at his disposal.

However, given the excitement generated by their recent bout, a rematch with Paul appears to be the more attractive option.

Jake Paul's upcoming bout has only been partially revealed thus far. While Paul and Most Valuable Promotions have disclosed the date of his upcoming fight, they have not yet disclosed his opponent.

Paul is slated to return to the ring on December 15, 2023, with the fight deal already signed by him, as reported by BAVAFA Sports. The official announcement is pending the signature of his opponent.

'The Problem Child' raised his career record to 7-1 with a victory against Diaz in August. He declared that he was done competing against former UFC fighters and that he was looking to advance his career by facing a "real" boxer.

It's still unknown whether Paul plans to make his mixed martial arts debut, even though a re-match with Diaz appears improbable.

Paul signed with the promotion earlier this year, and he immediately declared that he would be competing in the PFL.
