'Vision in white': Naomi Biden dazzles in a custom Ralph Lauren gown with a long veil at her wedding
WASHINGTON, DC: US President Joe Biden’s oldest granddaughter Naomi and Peter Neal celebrated their nuptials on Saturday, November 19 at the White House. In a scene from a fairytale, Naomi walked down the aisle in a gorgeous Ralph Lauren gown featuring a lacy high neck and a cascading veil.
Giving Naomi a timeless bridal look, the customized gown was made of chantilly lace and hand-sewn organza petals along the bodice which cascaded into the voluminous skirt, according to Variety. The gown was complemented by an alluring long veil made of silk organza with a custom chantilly lace border and embroidered detailing.

A slew of heart-warming pictures shared by the wedding planners, Rafanelli Events, also provided a closer closer look into Naomi’s bridal look. Naomi's makeup was subtle yet classy, and had her hair pulled back into a low bun. She completed her look by accessorizing it with a pair of pearl drop earrings and a bouquet, allowing her dress to enjoy its main character moment.
This isn't Naomi's first interaction with the label. In 2021, Naomi was dressed in the iconic American label from head to toe for her Biden's inauguration. She even attended the Ralph Lauren Fall 2022 fashion show in March.
This is the first wedding in the White House in over 10 years and it shared a photo of the event on its official Instagram account. The dazzling image captured Naomi posing with her grandparents, President Biden and First Lady Jill Biden. Following an afternoon reception with dancing and dessert at the executive mansion, the daylong celebration will continue with a luncheon at the White House for the bridal party and close family members, as per People.
Naomi is the daughter of the President’s younger son, Hunter, and his ex-wife Kathleen Buhle, and an associate at the DC law firm Arnold & Porter. Naomi and Neal, who interned for Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign as well as in the White House during Barack Obama's presidency, announced their engagement in 2021. The couple said earlier that the White House would be their wedding venue.
“It has been a joy to watch Naomi grow, discover who she is, and carve out such an incredible life for herself,” said the President and First Lady in a statement on Saturday. “Now, we are filled with pride to see her choose Peter as her husband and we’re honored to welcome him to our family. We wish them days full of laughter and a love that grows deeper with every passing year,” they added.
