HOUSTON, TEXAS: TLC's 'My 600-lb Life' showcases a variety of inspiring stories about the hardships of morbidly obese people striving to reduce weight, frequently weighing 600 pounds or more. It follows the participants through numerous phases as they stick to demanding and difficult changes in order to reach their ideal weight. Dr Younan Nowzaradan, AKA Dr Now, gives guidelines as well as particular diet and exercise regimes for losing further weight in order to be considered for weight-loss surgery.

The reality series, which premiered in 2012, has included a range of stories about people, some of whom achieve their full potential while others face challenges in their everyday lives. Latonya Pottain, from Season 11, Episode 2, is one such cast member who did not have a fruitful weight-loss journey. As a result of her bizarre encounter, and because viewers must be wondering where she is now, here's what we discovered!

Who is Latonya Pottain dating?

Latonya is married to the love of her life, Daune Anderson, according to her Facebook profile. Despite the fact that her relationship status indicates she has been married to Daune since September 2020, Daune's account indicates they married in February 2022. She may not have achieved her ultimate goal before walking down the aisle, but she appears to have made some progress.

Speaking of her man, Daune works at Performance Contractors, Inc. Even though he now lives in Shreveport with Latonya, he is originally from Bunkie, Louisiana. He is already the grandfather of two lovely children at the age of 42. As seen by his social media presence, he appears to be a family man. Latonya Pottain's journey on my 600-lb life

Latonya, a cast member on Season 11 of 'My 600-Lb. Life,' has met the guy she wants to marry, but her wedding preparations have encountered a snag since, at over 700 pounds, she can't walk down the aisle. Latonya, who states in the show's trailer that eating "fulfills empty voids that humans can't fulfill," doesn't want to give up her favorite foods, but will she do it for love?

While announcing her participation on the show, Latonya did mention that she failed on her weight loss journey. She wrote, "My episode airs Feb 8,2023 my story will help other people no I have not reached my goal but I'm working on me please keep all negative comments to ur self if u know me then u know I come with that 🔥 that will blow back so if u wanna do anything for me say a positive prayer and thank u and advance."

Where is Latonya Pottain now?

Sadly, Latonya Pottain only dropped weight when she was pushed to do so by Dr Now. She couldn't reduce weight on her own, and the TLC doctor gave up on her. Unfortunately, there aren't many recent photographs on her profile. She did, however, update her profile image a few days ago with a selfie that had a lot of effects on it. While she appeared to be in good spirits, she did not appear to have dropped any weight since her appearance on the show. Latonya did provide fans with an update on where she is now and how she is doing, as well as a promo for her upcoming episode. She was OK with the idea that she was on the show and wasn't a success story. She also stated that she had not yet attained her aim.

'Latonya's Journey' will air on Wednesday, February 8 at 8 pm ET/PT. Season 11 of My 600-Lb Life airs every Wednesday on TLC and Discovery+.
