What should you expect on 'My 600-lb Life' Season 11, Episode 1?
TLC is preparing to air a new season of its famous reality show, 'My 600-lb Life'. The show will highlight overweight people who see Dr Now in order to lose weight. "Morbidly obese patients turn to high-risk surgery to reclaim their lives," according to the official description for Season 11 of 'My 600-lb Life' on TLC.
If they want to be considered for bariatric surgery, they must adhere to stringent diets and guidelines that will allow them to shed a specified amount of weight. After a disappointing season 10, fans and viewers questioned whether the show will be revived again. However, in September 2022, Dr Now announced on Instagram that the show will be back.
TLC offered an exclusive sneak peek of the series prior to the broadcast. Dr Now is seen in the teaser advising a patient called Patrick, "This is your life and you're not going to live long like that."
Geno, a 31-year-old New Haven resident, is one of the cast members who also paid a visit to Dr Now. He tells the bariatric surgeon, "I use food for comfort just to feel happier. I just want to be full. We're an Italian family, so when we eat, we eat in abundance. Things are getting worse and harder every day because of my weight. What hurts the most on my body is probably my back, knees, and feet."
Geno will be assisted by his cousin Neco in losing 60 pounds in order to qualify for the procedure. Nico says to the camera, "He's very willing to change and I wanna lose weight with him. I'll be at his door, pushing him."
'My 600-lb Life' Season 11 will air on TLC every Wednesday at 8 PM ET.
