As soon as the tweet about the same was posted on the official Rotten Tomatoes Twitter handle, fans started raving about the show and about the incredible direction and cinematography by El Arbi and Fallah.
“Deservedly so, the direction and editing alone is worthy of acclaim and you pair that with an incredibly likable lead and some real emotional storytelling and it’s a recipe for success. Def another bright spot of phase 4,” exclaimed a fan.
“It was great. Loved how she faced a baby-level threat instead of a god destroyer thing. Felt very grounded. How she goes off to fight alongside Monica Rambeau and Captain Marvel will keep me in high expectations during the coming year,” added a fan.
“I have to say this is actually on the better side of the Disney plus shows though,” added another fan. “Show is so good!” said another fan. “I can say #MsMarvel was the Muslim-Pakistani representation we NEEDED. They didn’t just depict our culture, music, history, etc. They took their time to actually explore the life of a typical Pakistani teenager. The parenting, the kinds of friends, the struggles, etc. Loved it,” a fan noted.
“Aaand… they stuck the landing! #MsMarvel delivers a youthful, coming-of-age story filled with heart + joy. Kamala’s faith + background only add to this, and the importance of ‘community’ in all its manifestations lie at its heart (+ in its future). @MiniB622 @bishakali,” shared another fan.
“#MsMarvel is one of the best things Marvel has done in recent times. It felt homely, inclusive and very spirited in its storytelling. Iman Vellani plays Kamala to perfection and her scenes with her mother played Zenobia Shroff are the highlights of the series,” said another fan.
