MOSCOW, IDAHO: Moscow Police Department has released a new bit of information in the investigation of the quadruple murder of University of Idaho students on November 13. In the latest update, authorities claim a sixth person is listed on the lease at the King Road home where the students were residing and later found killed.
It has been nearly three weeks since the gruesome murder of Kaylee Goncalves, 21; Maddie Mogen, 21; Xana Kernodle, 20, and Ethan Chapin, 20, remains unsolved. However, MPD has not released any information or identity on the sixth person. However, they do not believe this person was at the house at the time of the murder.

Despite no murder weapon or suspect, authorities have said the following in a statement. "Idaho State Police Forensic Services crime lab scientists have worked on this case for weeks and have provided testing and analysis results to detectives. As they complete additional tests, those results will also be provided. To protect the investigation’s integrity, specific results will not be released," reported KREM.
Investigators have confirmed that they remain constant that the murder was a targeted attack, but have not concluded if the target was the residence or if it was the occupants. Whilst web sleuths continue probing their theories on social media. One such theory about the sixth roommate on Reddit claimed, "I assume she had already moved out but was still paying rent because she was bound to pay rent through x month by the lease contract." Another added, "Gisela K on YouTube 28:35 claims to have found this girl on TikTok. The girl no longer lived there but did say that the kitchen window could not be locked, and this could possibly be the entry point." "Moving out saved her life. I’m sure she has survivors guilt as well, poor girls," a Redditor remarked.
"It was known from the beginning that there was a 6th roommate who had recently moved out, and that information was in the news. There’s been lots of discussion in the subs as to whether the empty room was being used as a big closet, etc," read a thread. Another chimed, "Exactly. Why is this important now? They are essentially setting this girl up for harassment and I thought this was exactly what they Didn’t want." A user wrote, "The kitchen window oh no,there's a possible litigation there.Thats terrible news that this may have happened due to poor maintenance.U have to be so careful with locking up these days."
