NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: As per CNN, Joe Biden is putting his name on ‘'economic progress.’' This is quite literal considering the Biden administration has put signs near projects that have been funded by them. One such sign said, “Project funded by President Joe Biden’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.”

On ‘Morning Joe', hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski have spoken about this initiative by the Biden administration ahead of the 2024 Presidential race, to make people more aware of the projects that have been funded by Biden. Amidst this conversation, an incident from earlier this year that involved Senator Tommy Tuberville has resurfaced.

‘Stop Republicans from taking credit’

“Biden administration is doing more to show voters which projects are a result of President Biden’s Bipartisan infrastructure law. Some construction sites now have signs which actually say that. It seems to be a part of a push to stop Republicans from taking credit for projects they did not vote for,” said Brzezinski, before she gave Tuberville’s example from earlier this year. Brzezinski said, “One example from late June was Alabama senator Tommy Tuberville posting on social media that his state was receiving crucial funds for broadband access.” Tuberville tweeted in June, “Broadband is vital for the success of our rural communities and for our entire economy. Great to see Alabama receive crucial funds to boost ongoing broadband efforts.”

‘That’s the way he rolls, I guess’

Before Brzezinski could continue, Scarborough stated, “But he voted against it.” Brzezinski responded, “That’s correct.” Scarborough seemed confused and in disbelief, as he stumbled over his words, “But…but…wait…wait. If he says it is vital to the success of our rural community and the entire economy, why would he vote against that?” Brzezinski had no idea why Tuberville would do so, as she responded to Scarborough’s question with, “no clue.” Scarborough, who was still wrapping his head around it, continued, “Why would he promote something he tried to kill politically?” Brzezinski, who didn’t have a comprehensive response to Tuberville’s actions, replied, “That’s the way he rolls, I guess there.” Brzezinski also talked about how Biden trolled Tuberville on the very same day. Scarborough took Tuberville’s example in the context of the Biden administration's latest move and said, “This happens time and again, you get Republicans who vote against bills and then take credit for bills they tried to kill.”
