'Money Heist' is set to come out with the first part of its final season and fans cannot wait to learn about the fate of their favorite characters. Since 2019, the show has been enthralling the viewers with its engaging content, brilliant heist sequences, and high-octane action scenes. 

The previous 4 seasons have been a worldwide success and have given other non-English language shows like 'Who Killed Sara?', 'Dark Desire', and 'Dark' a strong platform for the global outreach. Apart from the show, the characters and actors on the show have also become really famous and Season 5 will see the return of all such characters.

Cast

Alvaro Morte as The Professor

Born on February 23, 1975, Alvaro Morte originally enrolled for a degree in communications engineering but switched to dramatic arts in 1999. Morte started his professional acting career in 2002 with small roles in projects such as ‘Hospital Central’ and ‘Policias, En Al Corazon De La Calle’. He received his first major role in the 2007 series ‘Planta 25’ and appeared in 64 episodes. Later that year, he also made his feature film debut with ‘Lola, La Pelicula’.

From 2008 to 2014, the actor got many supporting roles and cameo roles in shows like ‘Aida’, ‘Isabel’, ‘Victor Ros’, and more. However, 2017 turned out to be life-changing for him when he was cast as The Professor on ‘Money Heist’. The show received mixed reviews when it was being telecast on Spain’s local entertainment channel. However, everything changed when Netflix acquired the rights, and his popularity sky-rocketed.



 

Morte has won three Best Actor awards for ‘Money Heist’.

Ursula Corbero as Tokyo

Corbero always wanted to be an actress and started acting in commercials at the age of 13. She also took acting classes and jazz dance classes before taking up acting as a career. Her first acting role came in 2002 with the TV series ‘Mirali Trenct’ in which she appeared on three episodes. Till 2007, she made various cameo appearances in projects such as ‘Ventdeipla’, ‘Cuenta Atras’ and ‘El Internado’.

Her first major role came in 2008 when she was cast as Ruth in ‘Fisica o Quimica’. She gained a lot of prominence with that show and earned Best New Actress at the Glamour Awards. Meanwhile, she made her debut in Hollywood by doing a voice role in the movie ‘Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs’ and went on to lend her voice to characters in movies such as ‘The Secret Life of Pets’ and ‘The Emoji Movie’. In 2017, she was cast as Tokyo on ‘La Casa De Papel’ aka ‘Money Heist’ and gained global recognition. She received the Best Actress accolade at ATV Awards and Premios Aris.



 

Recently, she made her live-action feature film debut in Hollywood with the movie ‘Snake Eyes’. 

Itziar Ituno as Lisbon

The Spanish actress studied acting at the Basauri Theatre School and started her professional acting career with the 1995 short movie ‘Sex Machine’. From 1995 to 1997, she was featured in several short movies and TV movies like ‘Ricardo’, ‘La Leccion’, ‘Agur Olentzero, Agur!’ and ‘Otxate’. She got a couple of main lead roles in the movies ‘El Final De La Noche’ and ‘Agujeros En El Cielo’.

On the other hand, she kept on garnering success on TV as well with shows like ‘Teilatupean’ and more. However, her moment of glory came in 2017 when she was cast as Lisbon on ‘Money Heist’. Her popularity soared after the show premiered on Netflix.



 

Pedro Alonso as Andres de Fonollosa (Berlin)

The Spanish actor began his acting career in 1995 with a short film titled ‘Habitos’ and made his feature film debut in 1996 with the movie ‘Alma Gitana’. The actor made a lot of appearances in numerous projects such as ‘Insomnio’, ‘Noviembre’, ’18 Meals’, ‘Hospital Central’, ‘Padre Casares’ and more.

However, he gained a lot of prominence for his role on ‘Padres Casares’ and received Best Actor nominations at the Mestre Maestro Awards. Meanwhile, the TV show ‘Gran Hotel’ also gave him a lot of success and garnered him a nomination at the aforementioned awards ceremony.



 

With ‘Money Heist’, he achieved worldwide success and his singing in the show version of ‘Bella Ciao’ was also met with a lot of success.

Miguel Herran as Anibal Cortes (Rio)

Herran is relatively new in the entertainment world and began acting in 2015. His first acting role came with the 2015 Spanish film ‘Nothing In Return’. Herran received a lot of praise for his first feature film and won the Best New Actor accolade at the Goya Awards. The actor got more recognition with movies like ‘The Invisible Guardian’ and ‘Sky High’.
However, just like any other actor on the series, Herran also became a household name with ‘Money Heist’. He was recently seen in the Netflix series ‘Elite’ as well.



 

Jaime Lorente as Daniel Ramos (Rio)

Born on December 12, 1991, Lorent has always been attracted to the thought of being an actor and took contemporary dance classes when he was young. He began his acting career by working in several theatre productions. His role in the play, ‘Equus’, earned him the Best Actor accolade in the first edition of the Maria Jesus Sirvent Awards.

Lorente achieved a lot of success with ‘Money Heist’ and carry forwarded his golden run with his role in another Netflix show ‘Elite’.



 

Esther Acebo as Monica Gaztambide (Stockholm)

Acebo is known for her roles in projects such as ‘Los Encantados’ and ‘Growing Up’. Her first acting role was in the TV show ‘Madrid DF’ and then, she went on to have a cameo role in ‘Angel o Demonio’. Meanwhile, her first breakthrough role in TV came in 2019 with ‘Antes De Perder’. She was cast as Diana on the show and received praise for her acting.
Acebo has been playing Stockholm on ‘Money Heist’ since Season One.



 

Enrique Arce as Arturo Roman

Born on October 8, 1972, Enrique Arce is one of the prominent names in the Spanish entertainment industry and has worked on various international projects as well. He won a show in Spain and used the prize money to attend the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.

The actor played pivotal roles in movies such as ‘One of the Hollywood Ten’, ‘A Matador’s Mistress’, and ‘Terminator: Dark Fate’. Apart from doing movies and TV shows, Enrique has had an amazing career in theatre as well.



 

Najwa Nimri as Alicia Sierra

The Spanish actress began acting in 1995 with the movie ‘Saito Al Vacio’ and went on to star in ventures such as ‘Pasajes’, ‘Blinded’ and ‘Los Amentes Del Circulo Polar’. On the other hand, she started her musical career in 1999 and became famous for her 2001 single ‘That Cyclone’.

For her role in ‘Los Amentes Del Circulo Polar’, she received the Best Actress accolade at the 45th Ondas Awards. Elsewhere, she started to focus more and more on her musical career and gained wide prominence with her 2006 album ‘Walkabout’. The album sold 15,000 copies in Spain and was given ‘Gold’ certification.
