The Professor is the man with a plan, and if his intelligence goes astray, whose shoulders will the Spanish heist crime-drama ride on? At the onset of the thrilling Netflix show, the challenges make his head a little heavy and the loss of his lover leaves him astray. Not just that, he loses a key member from his team, the beloved Nairobi (Alba Flores). After the major setback, he realizes he needs to cut off his emotional ties to get back in the game. The sensational finale puts 'The Paris Plan' at play and leaves no scope for defeat.
It is brilliantly bodacious to see the Professor's well-calculated moves and jarring to witness how he snatches victory from the jaws of defeat. However, there's a slight miss. In all his enthusiasm to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat, he forgets to check up on the sharp-witted inspector, Alicia Sierra. She takes the matter in her hands and conducts a thorough investigation of the trails they've left.
The first season left the Professor at the same juncture when Raquel Murillo (Itziar Ituño) was in charge. However, he had a romantic relationship with her to save his ass. This time around, he seems to have no personal connection with the badass pregnant cop. Solving his masterplan piece by piece, she comes to his place of hiding and points a gun at him. He has no way to escape. With the rest of his team miles away, how will the Professor deal with this checkmate?
Is this the end of the Professor or will Alicia Sierra turn out to be a kin of the gang? There are already multiple theories floating around on how she is Berlin's girlfriend and a major part of the plan. Moreover, fans also feel that since Tokyo is the narrator of the show, she will turn out to be the only surviving member. However, there's no clue on whether one of those speculations will turn out to be true. Will the next season see the death of the Professor? Will Sierra take over as the new mastermind?

While there is no confirmation on whether we will get to watch another season of 'Money Heist', the final scene only confirms the possibility of one.
