JB Andreassi and Jimmy Giugliano visited the extravagant property and called it the 'Taj Mahal' of The Hamptons. The listing for the 20,000 square foot luxury mansion goes for $40,000,000 with complete privacy and just minutes away from the ocean. The co-agents gave an extensive tour of the house to a billionaire couple interested in the property. The home, with its grand entryway, has 13 beds, 15.5 baths with surrounding 17,000 square feet area. It's the perfect place for parties, has a 2 lane bowling alley, a billiards room, a grand theater that looks like its placed under the stars, a gorgeous glass wine cellar, sunken tennis court, an Olympic size pool, pool house, a jacuzzi, and a patio. It mixes the old and styles well, as explained by the agents.
When you walk up to the top floor, there's a putting green, with 360-degree panoramic views overlooking the ocean. It's called the best piece of properties on Hamptons, bar none, as the builder and developer John Keane himself said. And there's a dog washing room as well. If that wasn't enough, the master bedroom has a limestone terrace and a gas fireplace.
The potential commission for this vastly expansive mansion is $1,200,000 and it's no wonder why the agents are trying to nab the listing, especially JB. He explains that though he gets a 'small' piece of the commission, it will still be a big paycheck for him at the end of the day. This was the big leagues for JB, and it made him second-guess whether it made sense for him to leave Jimmy and start on his own.
The billionaire couple who were interested in this property were Jan and Renee Burman who called it a 'happy home' and perfect for entertaining. They were particularly happy with the pool. Keane explained that they had copied the concept from Miami Beach. The couple called the whole home magnificent and in all probability, they just might buy it. And if they do, it's payday for the agents.
